Rode up both sides of Passo dello Stelvio today, and it was hot in the valleys (mid 30s?). Now my legs really hurt.

Another loop from Bormio today, the last before I head for the French part of the Alps: Mortirolo (via Grosio) then Passo di Gavia. After yesterday's punishment, my legs handled it reasonably well, up to about 4km from Gavia, when their strength ran out, and I crawled the rest of the way up.

After the 455km bus ride from Bormio in Italia to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne in France, only had time for a ride up the Lascets de Montvernier (Montvernier hairpins), but it was nice.

Highlight of today, the Col du Galibier. 
Total for 5 out of 14 days of cycling: about 265km & 8000m climbing.
