Looks amazing, flew over the alps on our way to crete, looked amazing
Having ridden from La Grave to Le Bourg d'Oisans, then up to Alpe d'Huez, I'm now at Hotel Les Grandes Rousses. This place is amazing: easily the best one so far for this trip.
Yes it is. I rode up those in Sep last year and enjoyed it. I'd also like to ride up Col de la Madeleine and Col de l'Iseran some day.Shame you havent time for the Glandon and croix de fer.
Funny you mention that.On the "no climbing" part yet?
Don't forget to enjoy it though.Funny you mention that.
I just returned from a ride through the Gorge de la Nesque, a mere 'warmup' for tomorrow's triple Mont Ventoux climb. Today's ride was only 70km & 900m climbing, while tomorrow is 140km & 4400m climbing.
This photo is from today's ride:

Are there non-European Alps?
Yes, Australia (where I come from) has Alps, with peaks up to about 2200m.Yep plenty out there
