We went out and played yesterday. Today we'll be tiling or installing a Velux window.

(We had a nice little ride yesterday, exploring the Bridgewater Canal for a mile or so, and found a lovely little cafe not far away, so we've laid foundations for future outings).

Sorry, I've got to let you down. My right calf still hurts from yesterdays event (I am so glad I booked today as holiday), and I'm back to work tomorrow. So gentle bimble about the house today.

Ditto.

This is a tourist town in a tight valley so the main road is heaving with traffic on sunny Sundays. My normal response is to take to the hills or bridleways but I am not well/fit enough at the moment, and it is a bit too warm anyway. I might venture out for an easy ride this evening once the tourists have gone home and it has cooled down a bit.

I did a 21 miler with little bro (he is upgrading from a Specialized Sirrus Sport Hybrid to a Trek Madone 2.1.....?

Guess my tourer is going to be given a run for it's money in a couple of weeks.

Got back from the ride, and he suggested doing it again - so off we went.

42 (hot) miles in the bag. Easy for me, but he was suffering in the last 10 miles.
