As chaos reigns across what is left of the earth, Gary stoutly defends his small woodland community from brigands led by Dom Tyler and Bonj. Eventually they capture the village and dispatch its chief, but they have no idea how to fend for themselves, and a stray Death Cap in their celebratory feast leads to an agonising end. Gaia completes her revenge in a series of ever-more devastating catastrophes, and at the end only NickM is left. He misses everyone.
