ok so i can ride a bike , walk , just about jog and could poss rum half a mile , so today i had a go at ice skating , well i am not destined to be the next Robin Cousins is all i am going to say ...............

I used to worry about that!!
I also used to ski...much safer!

Memories of going ice skating in Blackpool as a teenager in the eighties. There was always blood on the ice!

I used to ice skate a lot. I managed to break both ankles and a knee at various times.

Still statistically safer than skiing. I've never seen the attraction of strapping two bits of wood to your feet and throwing yourself down a mountain....

My only foray into skiing was a weeks holiday in the French Alps. The first morning on the Ski slopes. That was it... I knew Skiing wasn't for me. The Apres Ski was far more inviting so that is what I did for the rest of the week whilst the rest of the chumps threw themselves down ski slopes.
