Nothing wrong with them, I have a premier HLE and tbh, I like it a lot

It's a lot of bike for 40 quid. that price gives you room for improvement on it

Go on, you know you want to

If I had space I would have it, I think that lad is gonna have it, if a free one came up I would make space, I’ve missed out on a couple of free ones by a matter of minutes in the past.

Started young, and still going.
I had one thirty years back, same colour, quite a good bike. I did many miles on it until it got nicked from outside the curry house in New Barnet. I paid £35 quid for it then, £40 now is a bit of a bargain I think, seeing the condition it is in.

My first commutes were done on a Carbolite Peugeot. Traded it in at Bob Addy's for a Muddy Fox (couldn't get my head around having more than one bike back then).

View attachment 455136 lad at work is selling a bike on behalf of his dad, Old Peugeot, looks in nice condition, is it anything special or just a nice old bike?
From the serial number I think it’s 1987 (Y706........) 8 numbers after the letter.
Looks very clean. Looks like Huret gearing, weimann brakes. Bargain for £40.00. Sold a few for £100-£130.
