Used to love christmas holidays, Every morning you had an episode of Laurel & Hardy, an episode of Harold Lloyd and a thrilling installment of Flash Gordon to look forward to :smile:

Ahh the days before streaming video (or any video come to think of it), we were hostages to what ever was on the three channels (one of which was the test card). Once Champion the Wonder Horse had finished, there was precious little on offer. For some reason this has always stuck in my mind, think it's entirely down to the theme tune.

OMG this has just reminded me of groups of kids in Harehills, Leeds in the late 80's following me and my fella on more than one occasion shouting Dempsey and Makepeace at us!
 
Anybody else remember "I didn't know you cared" they showed an episode on a Liz Smith night and when I mentioned it to SWMBCF she promptly/secretly googled it and got me the box set:biggrin:
+1 for Big Deal, we were only talking about that the other day & I'd love to see Brass again after watching Tim West and Prunella Scales on the canal boat series.
