Ahh the days before streaming video (or any video come to think of it), we were hostages to what ever was on the three channels (one of which was the test card). Once Champion the Wonder Horse had finished, there was precious little on offer. For some reason this has always stuck in my mind, think it's entirely down to the theme tune.
Don't forget " on the buses".Steptoe & Son, still one of my favourites
Auf Wiedersehen, have been watching it again recently on one of the freeview channels
Dempsey & Makepeace, just because![]()
OMG this has just reminded me of groups of kids in Harehills, Leeds in the late 80's following me and my fella on more than one occasion shouting Dempsey and Makepeace at us!Steptoe & Son, still one of my favourites
