I was just about to ask the same thing. Why are you selling a bike for the winter?!
Why are you selling a bike for the winter?!
It's a sound plan. Sell your bike, because you wouldn't be riding it over winter anyway, throw the money from that in the bank, and over the winter, save up some cash so you can have a better bike next year.
Winters only a quarter of the year though. The drawback is you loose half a years cycling.

The most recent one wasn't!Winters only a quarter of the year though.
It wasn't that bad! Granted we'd snow in early May, but thats not half a year. The most recent one wasn't!![]()
If the bike in question is the 'good bike', you might not ride it over the winter anyway. A lot of people switch to their winter bikes instead. So to sell the summer bike and save up while riding the winter bike for an even better summer bike makes a lot of sense.
