As per title really. Red Oxo cubes have been requested but I'm after more suggestions of small things that I could include in the package.

Any suggestions/experiences please?

Small and cheap are good, for obvious reasons.

Not sure - it would have to be something I could not source where I am -and as a touring cyclist you get pretty good at working out where you can get things - ie Gammon steaks in Kuwait or oxo cubes wherever - no point in sending recordings of favorite telly or radio as with internet can get most anywhere - so you are begining to look for something off the wall

Tea is a bloody good idea, thanks. Am considering chucking a pair of winter socks in as well, surely they'll be appreciated.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Something to wear made of a natural fibre.

That's experience speaking. After only a week and half in lycra, nylon and polyester last summer I craved cotton and linen. A simple linen shirt and pair of cotton trousers made me feel like a traveller, not someone who was tied to a bike.

A quarter, or even better, half a pound, of favourite sweets, assuming they aren't available where they are touring.

I've just sent a package to Namibia for myself:

2 New tires/innertubes
2 Rohloff oil sets
1 good chain
1 rohloff cog
200 teabags
