When I did my (JMB - Joint Matriculation Board) O-levels, my grades were given as numbers, 1-6 being passes and 7-9 being fails.

(I assume that you got a 7 for turning up at the exam, writing your name on the paper, and attempting to answer some questions. 8 would be for turning up and attempting to write your name at the top of the paper. 9 would be for turning up, sitting frozen with fear/boredom and writing nothing on the paper. We assumed that something horrible had happened to those who did even not turn up!)

When it comes to continental ladies (Germans being a possible exception!), I'm a walkover. All you have to do is talk and I go weak at the knees. Especially if it is a French accent, oo la la .

Anyhow I agree, English spoken with a french accent is so sexy!
