Bet it was fiddly to get on![]()
Worse when cyclist do it I'm afriad.I've been pondering this indicator issue, and I've realised it's most dangerous when cars turn without using mirrors, and most frustrating when you've got a good bit of momentum coming up to a roundabout and some bugger doesn't indicate so you have to stop, only to find out that the buggers were turning off anyway!
really enjoy that kind of communication...I am absolutely positive that some of us (in cars, on bikes..whatever) actively seek opportunities to interact this way. I've often had a cars pass me on the hill at the bromley end of the A21 but have held back at the numerous pinch points before doing so.This morning an Audi estate car stayed patiently behind me until it was safe to overtake. I gave my customary right thumb-up as a thank you to the driver, who then did the 'hazard lights-on' for a few seconds as acknowledgement. Never had that before!
