I briefly had a 928 S2 back in the day. I came upon it by chance doing someone a favour (they'd been made redundant and needed the sale) and I was frightened to leave it parked anywhere. After 2 different drivers smacked it while parked within half an hour of each other (it had snowed) I let the insurers fix it and then got rid before any more harm befall it.

A lovely long legged grand tourer. A generally languid nature, but with some balls if required. Alas, id struggle to get in and out of one now.

Finally got a picture of this rarely moved Porker my previous thoughts were that it was a 968 but I think it is another 928 to add to the total seen locally

I do half fancy a 928, would have to be a manual, which are I think less common, but do exist. Probably won't get one as I think I'll stick with a car I can largely DIY, and the porker is likely a bit of complex
money pit, despite being well engineered

That said, a motoring photographer friend did say that almost every time he had to photograph a classic Ferrari or Lambo, unless it had had a huge amount spent on it very recently, it would break down, fail to start, or boil over. The 20 year old Porsches on the other hand would rock up, he'd get his pictures, and they'd adjourn to the pub for lunch

I saw these last week, when l went to buy a new dog-walking coat at a workwear shop (TuffShop) nearby, but wife was with me, so couldn’t really stop

I’d see 3 as l drove past, but not the RS3100

Apologies for quality, reflections & mucky glass made it awkward

I was half-tempted to buy a brand new 2CV back in the 80, although it would likely have been a silly choice for my high mileage usage at the time. Anyhow, the van version wasn't sold in RHD format, which I think might have tipped the balance towards getting one. Possibly there were Irish RHD ones at one point?
