We had a C240 Sport estate about 25 years ago, most comfortable car I’ve ever owned.

Is that a Chesil?

Not sure no one was around to ask but next time I see someone I will ask

I actually don't mind that, and in a way speaks more of its time than the ubiquitous Golf equivalent. Probably has the rigidity of a dunked rich tea, mind.

That one has been around for a few years just never in a position to photograph it.

Not seen it out and about though locally.

Yes I should think there's not many of either left compared to the quantity produced

Spotted on my ride home, via one quiet/off-road route
DVLA ‘MOT checker’ states 1947 Mercury, by that registration

The owner has (had?) a couple of 'hot-rods' too
Plus, someone I know who lives not too far away from this lane, has (or had?) 2 Cobra replicas, & a nice ('series 1'/'classic') Range -Rover
Sadly I very rarely see Richard anymore (his brother-in-law bought my Ifor-Williams, quite a few years ago)
