Yep, was a Ro80. The old boy that owns it was quite chatty, tells me it's been rebuilt with composite steel-ceramic rotor tips.

There's a garden not far from me in a similar state of 'storage'.
Wonder if the respective householders are simply hoarders or they have grand / misguided ambitions of restoration and resale - ?

These have been there for a good five years at least.
There's a couple more further round to the right and there used to be pile of metro tailgates about 5ft tall but couldn't see them this morning.

Took my lads car for some paint to be repaired at a local bodywork place and hidden under stuff was hidden several old survivors. Vectra SRI estate, Rover 25, old splitty VW beetle plus some other old cars not identified. Apparently all to be restored at some stage between customers cars.
