Things are going well in the quest to tinker with everything on the folder. Changing the BB and adding the SRAM compact crank set went without a hitch.
So I have lost my 40T and now have 34T/50T. Now the tricky part, getting a front mech onto a 40mm seat tube with a frame brace in the way... any ideas or suggestions greatly received. That is other than the advice from my LBS which was "don't". I am thinking that I should have a bottom fed front mech (to make cable routing easier) with some form of braze-on or adaptor to hold it. There's 20mm between the inner chain ring and the seat tube, I think there should be room. Any suggestions for front mechs would also be cool. Let the tinkerage commence
