Here for rides.
... begins today.
After a long time living away from home in fairly minimalist splendour in Scandinavia I've come back to the UK to discover I have far too much stuff. Wardrobes and chests of drawers have been cleared and Oxfam's rails are heaving. The man drawer is gone, upended, unsorted, into the bin. Cathartic. Cupboards stuffed with old tech emptied and contents gone to the recycling point. Various musical instruments have been given away and my bass gear made redundant "I've retired" and donated to an impoverished student of my former bass teacher.
Now my attention turns to the bike shed...
First to go, free, to a friend, this weekend is my Boardman HT Pro, which I've not ridden properly since doing the Trans-Cambria on it a couple of years ago. I'll keep my full bounce Canyon.
I'll keep my tourer, and my Equilibrium, and one singlespeed/fixed, and my cargo bike, and my Brompton. I may not be able to part with the Purple People Eater as building it was a labour of love. But that looks to be it. The tandem has to go, tlh just won't.
The object is to get the current fleet of 'approximately' thirteen bikes down to those listed.
Anyone tried this....?
