As the title says, Im building a 2018 orange five XL frame that I have bought.
Removing all stuff from my Jamis Dakar a2 Large frame to put on it. Going for a retro full sus' look with decals on forks and raw aluminium cranks š.
Couple of snags so far. Steerer tube is too short now, new one getting sorted. Also rear hub on Jamis is 142mm and Orange is 148mm, so sorting out some new wheels. All in pieces at the moment (as sorting out the pivot bearings), so rear shock and pivot swinging arm is off after taking pictures. Hopefully be sorted by end of the month.
Anyone give me any hints and tips, as first time doing this. Thank you
