As title says - I'm looking at getting an Orca and I'm trying to figure out the best option within my budget.

Essentially it boils down to:

Orca OMX - Mechanical Ultegra

or

Orca OMR - Sram Force or Di2

Is the OMX frame worth not having electronic shifting? it's meant to be stiffer and about 200g lighter but not sure I'll really feel it to be fair. My current bike is a TCR Composite from 2014 so it's going to be a steo up either way but with the amount of money I'm looking to spend it's got to be good for the next 5 years at least.

In general I'm riding avg 40-70 mile rides, with some travels abroad and a bit of bike packing (hotel type bike packing, not carrying sleeping bags etc)

Which one can you get in less than six months  and which one has the best whales

Seriously, post the links so we can see what you're talking about.

I'm really not the best person to comment as a bit of a fuddy duddy old barsteward but I'd go for the mechanical Ultegra. The electronic shifting might be wonderful but it's one more thing that can go wrong which you really don't want if touring.
