[OT Know How] How Much Sand to Cover 12 sqm to depth of 20mm

You dont say if this is for front/rear of house, block paving/slabs... if its at the front and its for any form of paving for hardstand (car etc) then the rules change late last year which means you now need approval to lay/relay such an area to ensure adequate drainage.

Strangely enough, here in France sand is sold by cubic metre.. When I asked for a quarter of m3 they thought I said 4. 4m3 is a lot, I still have some of it but it'll come in useful soon.
