It gets spookier. I too had trousers on (ron hill bikesters) and they did not tear, but I got a graze underneath, just as you did.

Annoying, the time I fell off and had a camera (my old digital cam) fitted, I wasn't filming at that moment, since the cam had limited memory and I was choosing shots for one of my little films... I too got a nice rash through clothes, on my elbow...
