She's currently enjoying The Archers. I went out to walk the other dog and Poppy is still chilled out in her crate so I haven't yet let her out. She did listen to You & Yours at lunchtime, and The Food Programme this afternoon.

She's bound to like The Archers - all those animals!

Maybe she hears the lunchtime consumer programme as Poo and Paws....

Poppy is doing really well still.

Here she is in the Burley TailWagon that PedalDog from YACF sold to me:

She won't go out in it yet but she certainly seems to like it as a place to chill out. I keep finding her underneath the cushion.

We also have a basket for the bike which she has spent a little time in, although it's too small for her to be in for too long (plus it's wicker which she could chew if she got bored).

We had a much quieter night last night. She now accepts the crate door being shut after about a minute (there are a few whines and squeaks initially) and goes to sleep. She woke me at about 2:30am with squeaking so I took her outside which was clearly what was required. She then slept through until 6am at which point (as it was daylight) we both got up.

We've had just one accident in the house which was entirely my fault; her crate was still upstairs and she'd eaten her food so I ran downstairs to get some more. She's too small to go down the stairs and puppies tend to need the loo after eating and I forgot that briefly, so there was a tiny pile when I got upstairs again. However she's been brilliant otherwise. I left her for an hour and a half today as I went out cycling. Even now, she was sleeping by my feet outside in the garden and I've come in and she's stayed out there, so she's not permanently following me about which is good.

Not quite so cute this morning. She's discovered growling whilst hanging off my hand and biting it rather hard, plus I was up every two hours in the night to take her to the loo. I'm feeling slightly spaced out now and rather wish James was at home to share some of the supervision.

Poppy is off to the vet at 10 this morning for her first jabs.
