My store has a hole cut in the bottom and i installed ground anchors with a head that snapped offso a tea leaf cant just undo it , it also sits below the base so you would have to lift the store out of the way to get at them , doesnt stop a determined tea leaf that comes armed with bolt cutters of course attacking the chains but it sure does make it harder for them .

Using the same 12mm masonry bit, new bit for each drill.
Parkside won by 10s drilling 80mm deep hole in hight grade concrete.

An extra large outdoor storage box from Argos has an inner width of 130cm. With the front wheel turned do you think that's going to fit a bike in? Height and depth are fine. That's £160.

The range says same external width but doesn't list inner width, I'm.guessing it will be the same.

OK
I have a hammer drill and masonry bits which manage just fine with concrete and brick
the first time I have failed it with this Indian Stone stuff
I have tried to different drill bits - but from the same set - and they are the ones that get used most
Are there different versions of masonry bits - and how do you tell??

Thanks

Hammer drills with normal chuck have very weak hamer, also cheap drill bits can be horrible.

Assuming you have non SDS drill:
Use these bits.

Use low speed gear if available, keep speed to 1/2 max speed if not.
Make a puddle of water to keep bit from overheating.

For SDS drill(some without hammer only mode are as whimpy as non SDS)
Buy Milwaukee or bosh bits, cool with water if needed.

I think even the extra large storage boxes are just too small. Alternatively, could I squeeze one more in here? Bikes are deceptively long!
