Outlook emails.....i am getting unwanted ads and cant remove them.

As per the heading I am on Hotmail/Outlook Express.
I have suddenly received 2 adverts from companies offering to help with old car finance agreements.
They both have tags telling me they are ads.
I cannot see any way to delete them.
This has never happened before.
Any advice/suggestions ?

Leave them, they stay at the top, change frequently.
Afaik those ads are the price of the free mail app

Sadly, the adverts are there for everyone who uses the free version. If you don't want them, you'll need to pay an annual subscription for Microsoft 365 at about $99.

They are there for people who pay on the Android version of Outlook. There are lots of posts about them on Microsoft support forums. Despite anything MS people can't get rid of them.
