We've all done it, but is it a wise and mature cycling move? Not the best for safety either.

I did consider getting in front to prove a point. However when I see someone do something that stupid I would rather be behind them where I can see exactly what they are doing and they are less of a danger to me.

You're both right to some degree, but sometimes it's good to make a point.

I've had it happen to me twice this year, somewhere in the forums I have posted the details. Since then as a rule, when turning right, at the point of turning I also perform a more vigilant look back over the right side as a "Life Saver" just in case of idiots like this and if it does not look safe I do not turn.
