Don't have one, never would, I have two sons, one covered, one who'd never have one. The current trends will certainly date people to a timeframe as surely as "Mam and Dad " and an elbow "cobweb" do.
I quite like them - they're a bit badass.
Like anything else though they follow fashion and unlike other fashion you can't change them. I wish I'd been brave enough when I was younger, however, I'd probably be a bit embarrassed to have things that were important to me as a naff 19 year old etched on permanently.

Guy I work with has both arms covered, exceptional work by the artist - he's Polish so I'd guess an artist there. Never asked.
Not something I'd want on me though.
looked in tattoo parlours a few times.............never found the perfect tat or thought the time was significant enough to mark it with a tat, always fancied a flying wheel, campag style or similar.............can't be bothered now, there are some really good designs around now though.......step kids have them and quite a few mates..............
