Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
There are some depressingly tidy garages on show in this thread. Every now and then I go into my garage, pick up a couple of bits of utter rubbish to throw them out, then look at the place, despair, and leave.

you should see my own condo basement. it will cheer you up!

the garage I'm painting, is in an unoccupied house, that we will be selling, sometime in the next 10 years, if I can get my Mother & siblings to agree!

cleaver idea for ladder storage!

It’s a big ladder!

Ah, yes, note how you don’t see the rest of the double garage…..rammed with all manner of stuff (2 bikes, bench, tool stacks, yet another quadruple folding ladder, freezer, home battery & more. Not easy to even walk through.
Desperately needs a full clear out…..but I do the same as your last sentence 😂

Halloween night got to the last section

there were some nasty spots, even signs of a larger rodent, I broke out some cleaning supplies & stiff broom & hose. then swept residual water away, shop vacc'd it & let it air dry a while before starting with the edges

I'll see how it dries after 2 weeks

this corner was nasty. all better now. interesting for me to think of the worker in 1966 spreading the concrete

have to decide what I want to do w/ the remaining 1/4 can of paint. it's not enough for a whole 2nd coat, but maybe some selective roller blending? I had the 2nd can custom mixed to match the first can, but it just wasn't perfect

Masonry paint and heavy duty roller. First few coats will disappear into the bricks but after that it’ll cover up ok.
