The Oral Rehydration Therapy website recommend 1l water, 6 tspn sugar, 1/2tspn saltOne litre of water, with 6 teaspoons of sugar and one teaspoon of salt, and a splash of lemon juice for a little flavour. And a banana or two among my food items.

Yeah, that's aimed at maximum rehydration rate for, for example, people who are seriously dehydrated.
