Pancake day? I eat pancakes all year round. Too good to restrict to just one day of the year.

A firm family favourite is buckwheat galettes filled with apple compote and topped with a dollop of Greek yoghurt. Regular Saturday night treat.

His will be fairtrade lemons and sugar though and only allowed to be transported using free-range donkeys and then sold in co-ops run by disadvantaged minorities operating out of organic yurts. Or something like.

As long as they're not served like I had in Canada once - pancakes and maple syrup with hash browns. Not what I expected
