Might try turning left down Peterborough Road tonight, then taking Bells Alley (if it works for bikes) then along Hurlingham Road..


Yeah, that's it ... between Wandsworth Bridge and where Hurlingham Road rejoins New King's Road, I can average around 26mph ... can't usually get anywhere near that speed on my commute until I hit Richmond Park.

Why not try the cycle path along Hyde Park parallel to Park Lane?

meh, i find there is a big cross wind too often in that, and it's full of cyclists and pedestrians that don't look where they are going.

BUT, if you are going west after that, it's the best way to go, as you will cut an easy 5 mins off your time depending on the route.
