Don't let an inconvenient truth get in the way of your satire, 20"!

Do you know how much it COSTS to panel beat a BMW X5 offside passenger door? Get a car, you cycling failure.

That's a better attempt than BM's, but it is hardly Swiftian. Have another shot - you've shown potential...

Better than BM - oh well, it's something.

Seriously though, the OP says Tooting Bec Common. There's only one school near the common. Still reckon I'm right, and it's just to be able to show the inspector that they're doing something. Sorry, I've seen it too often in London.

I only cycle across about 25 metres of it but it cuts a massive route out. I'm going to email Wandsworth council and ask them to set up a shared path on this part of the common. If often see lots of cyclists there so it's a well used route.

Let me guess, the path parallel to West Drive?

I live 50 meters away from the common and used to attend the Furzedown ward community meetings...I can tell you stories of anti-cycling prejudice that would make you weep, (and I have defended the rights of cyclists for years against this), but asking cyclists to behave a bit more responsibly on the common is not an issue that raised my hackles.

nah even sillier than that, I cut under the railway bridge so get on the common at Drewstead Road, and off again at Sternhold Avenue, where the Police where stood.

it's such a good cut through from Streatham to Clapham, it should just be cycle approved,

Do you know who I should email at Wandsworth about it and I'll CC you in?

Well I've cycled to within 3 miles of the Common, so I've obviously got more idea of what's going on than you....
