Hi, just a quick question I have had my bike delivered and it’s the first time iv had one sent to me rather than collect from a store. And It’s my first carbon frame.
In the seat tube is a rubber grommet which hard a cardboard tube through, is this supposed to go over the seat post as it seems a bit snug or was it just for shipping?

Thanks that was my thought as it didn’t seem like it would all fit. But then had my doubts as to whether there should be any sort of seal around the post and frame

Ooo, nice. I gave my brother my Cannondale and I've kinda regretted it ever since and it wasn't as nice as your example.
