The short lived 5 speed SA is a bit of nightmare, that’s why Brompton dropped it for the 6 speed (a 3 speed hub with a 2 speed Derailleur) still an engineering pig in a poke bit sort of works. A replacement 3 speed hub/wheel could be a better long term solution

Unfortunate that I just got the rear wheel rebuilt 🤦
