We've had threads about most things by now, fortunately we are all getting old and our memories are going. We had a thread about this a while back.

So whrn were you there? I was 84-87
We were most likely at many of the same gigs. My main watering hole was the Victory, long since shut sadly.Blimey 85-88!
It's mentioned in video linked in the OP, something to do with rosary beads and "our father"...Silly question, but does anyone know why they are called Paternosters?
We used to have one at work ( heathrow airport ) I remember my colleague tried to get in carrying a set of step ladders! They were crushed !
The 'Swan and Rushes' is the only decent pub round that way now.I was at Leicester Poly too and remember the Paternoster in the Fletcher building I think it was. Funnily enough we had a reunion back in Leicester a couple of weekends ago. Stayed at the Grand and hit a few of the old haunts - The Bowling Green and what was back then the Crown and Thistle. All very different now though.
It did in 1991 but it had been roped-off by then.Does Birmingham University library still have one?
That's mine too - the maths tower. We got 8 of us in once (I think it was 8, it's 35 years ago)
