This might sound a bonkers question, but does anyone pay someone else - an ironing service etc - to do their ironing?
A pal of mine (London based) takes in ironing and gets well paid for the service but London rates are somewhat different to the rest of the country.

I was wondering if anyone uses an ironing service and how much they pay for it. Is it per item, per basket, by weight etc?

I love ironing. Sad but true, and as I'm between contracts at the moment and prefer to be self employed, I thought that I might look into this as there doesn't seem to be an ironing service around here. There might be a good reason for that, of course. Bomber County might be full of people who adore ironing  Unlikely I guess, but you never know.

Anyway

I prefer to do my own, I find it theraputic and helps to clear the mind after a day sitting in an office and listening to the biggest football bore I have ever met.

Give it a go, i know a few who do it.

Ideally they drop it off..or you'll be driving all over instead of ironing.
Rates for pick up will need to be + per mile 45p touch
Leaflet drop and internet ..target businesses as its the shirt wearers that often cant iron

Worth a try - there is a service round my way which has its own van (pink of course) so they must be doing ok. I think they may do work for businesses too, eg nursing homes.

Deffo target the business market. Though Mr G discovered non-iron shirts many years ago and we haven't looked back!

Local freesheet, cards in windows.

In the City of London there are loads of 'Wash & Iron' shirt services.
Some include office pick up and redelivery, others don't..
Some include other items as well as shirts, others don't.

I drop off and pick up my shirts, I tend to do 10-15 at a time, and typically they change about £2-2.50p a shirt
