To all our cycling computer geeks out there,
Over the last couples of years the company i work for has kindly let all of its employees use their anti virus on personal computers ( Sophos). Sadly that has come to an end.
I now need to purchase some security for myself.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good allround anti-virus that won't hog my resources.

It's a minefield, don't know what to use for the best.

Thanks..........Trev

It's free, does all you need and doesn't hog resources.

Which ISP are you with? I'm with Talk Talk, and their free - part of the service - one does the job just right.

Another vote for MSE... does what it needs to do without hogging resources or getting in the way.

I used to like AVG but it seems a bloated mess these days and resource heavy on older machines.
