Here's the ride I did starting in Ashbourne. The whole area west and north is amazing....but hilly. No particular recommendations, just follow your nose out of Ashbourne on the lanes and you won't go far wrong, if you don't mind the hills

I notice you ended your ride in a place called Knockerdown. I hope the motorists dont take that too literally.

All off road but good surface, or so I'm told, I have yet to get there
Did all of these, plus the Manifold Track, one weekend about two years ago.
I didn't enjoy the Monsal and Manifold so much, as I was prodigiously hung over.
Derbyshire folk are way too friendly :cheers:

Did the triangle on Saturday. Middleton to - carsington water - tissington - parcley hay- Middleton top.
Plenty of cafe, loads of views, hills and zero cars for me

That's the one I want to do, looks a bit steep just before Tissington gradients of 11%
