Peak or no peak - that is the question

My helmet came with a peak on and I've never removed it. My glasses aren't that great - and I've struggled to find any that protect my eyes from the sun but don't slide down my nose - so the peak covers the "gap" above my glasses when the sun's low. If I ever manage to find any glasses that I get on with, I'll probably remove it on the basis that I won't need it then.

I wear a helmet. (I'd quite like not to from time to time but my late mum bought it for me and I promised her that I'd always wear it, and I'd feel superstitious about riding without it now ...) It has a peak and I leave it on. I quite like the look of the peak and it must help reduce rain and bright light getting into my eyes, even if only slightly.

With peak on both bikes.
If only cos I cant be bothered to remove it and too tight to buy two.
Also I think a tiny piece of black plastic is the least of my aerodynamic problems.
