I've just fitted a "Weeride" toddler seat to my hybrid bike. The seat is fixed to a bar above the cross-bar infront of me, the rider. It's excellent but the one problem is that my knees keep brushing the toddler seat, despite it being as far forward as I can get it and my saddle being as far back as possible/comfortable. If my feet and pedals could come out further away from the bike by an inch or two, that would solve the problem.
Does anyone know if its possible to acquire pedal extenders in the UK? They fit between the crank and pedal and seem readily available in the USA, but the companies that sell them either won't ship to the UK or charge over £50 on just postage!
I could make some but I only have access to mild steel and these seem to be made of something harder.
Any ideas?
With thanks,
Mark
