pedal power!!

Hey! just a little question about pedals1 my scott sub 30 has what i like to call £99 argos special pedals on1 (you know the ones! HUGE plastic things with reflectors on lol) when on my daily commute i notice that as i am powering along my feet seem to shift back and forth on the pedals! now..... as my budget is low i was thinking of replacing the pedals with some smaller nicer lookin ones and getting some strap type pedal clips (a fiver from ebay!!) obviously id love cleats and a decent pair of shoes! anyone got any views on the strap type clips??

and any links to cheap cleated pedals? might see what santa brings

also will cleats improve my ride by a great deal?

You won't regret move, if you decide to.

I might be wrong, but it feels like I can get more power into the crank with my clipless pedals.

I know I pull up on the pedal, from about 6 o'clock to 10 o'clock, which adds a nice bit of umph, especially during acceleration and hills.

+1 on the pulling up but I only notice it on the hills, but clipless feels so much better all round I can't go back now.
