They are not worn out, and unfortunately they can’t be adjusted for the sideways movement.

im looking for something with a larger platform and longer shaft length.

Standard spindle I think but for the price you can add extenders ?

It's not as rotational means relating to a circular or 'rotating' movement around a fixed point. Float is just the lateral movement of your foot whilst you are clipped in.

Nope. Float, as it pertains to clip-in pedals, is the available rotational movement of the cleat in the pedal. It can be 'free' float or 'spring loaded' float and is measured in degrees.

Nope. They can be adjusted to be easier or more effort to release. If you want to change the amount of available float you have to change the cleat.
