I've just been looking at the B'twin Triban 5 in Decathlon's catalogue. It says "automatic pedals" and the picture makes it look like there aren't any.

Please explain...

"Automatic" is the French term for clipless. Most bikes are pictured without pedals as they are often an extra.

Its probably a copy and paste job (direct translation) from a European site; in the UK its a technicality that bikes can't be sold without pedal reflectors and many clipless systems don't allow for them, hence the bike is sold without pedals.

PS Don't worry, their Mechanics won't leave you without pedals. They are very good at Stockport.
