Pie Mash and Liquor

On reading the Gary Mason thread , Dellzeq mentioned that he studied at the South Bank Poly . Now when i was a nipper before it was even built there used to be a Pie mash shop across the road called Harringtons , the best in London by far . Going there on a saturday morning was the biggest treat in the world , the smell ,steam running down the walls , marble slabs for tables and chillie vinegar . What do you guys miss from your childhood ?

I miss my trolley (soap box). I was watching some kids recently playing on one and I really fancied a go. We had crazes when I was young, and when it was trolley craze not a pram in the neighbourhood was safe!

The snow, more the better.
Not having to worry about getting anywhere and didnt have the cycling bug then. Just endless hours of enjoying making igloos, snowmen, snowballing etc.
Many good memories of those innocent care free times
