I'm buying a singlespeed bike. It has been decided. My only query is, from experience, which seems a better bike? Both disc brakes, both drop handlebars. Pricing about the same.

No contest. The Day One wins by a mile because of its steel frame.
One of the guys in my local Decathlon was so enamoured that he imported his from the UK at great cost.

As a result of this thread it would appear I have just managed to move from "Genesis Day One 10, I wonder what one of them is?" to putting my name down on a Genesis Day One 20. Oh well, it's been at least 4 years since I had a new bike.
