Like the sound of that, Inverary round to Oban and some island hopping, magic!
Plenty of local Hake on the way as well.

Isn't it a bit full?

I was brought up there 70 years ago. Went back for a visit a few times. Each time it seemed to have not improved.

Cycled there once from Cardiff on our way to Fishguard.
Remember the "11 year old" hotel receptionist in Llanrhidian kept calling my cycling chum and I "lads". We were both in our late 60's then.
I've lived in Swansea my whole life. (54)
Gower is on my doorstep.
There are many different routes to take to North and South Gower. I'm not a roadie, so don't do huge mileage.
I tend to use the middle and North roads which tend to be quieter in general with more room either side.
If you pick your route carefully, it's a great place.

That's encouraging. An expedition for Vanessa and me.

I'll visit my buddy John, but will probably need to wait for fall, though - short on funds this spring.

I want to do the ride in this video, again.

I probably rode around the Cactus Forest Loop Drive well over a hundred times back in the '70s - we used to just scream through, passing cars. It's a pretty wild ride, and actually the hills are even steeper than they appear in the video. The first five minutes or so give a bit of the sense of the ride, which is probably a lot more mesmerizing for me than for a first-time viewer. Still...
