Hehe...that's quite inspiring. They do say you need some sporting prowess beforehand, and I'm not sure if I'm that 'prowess-full' but I love the idea of being a super-cyclist post November

Two trips on the anvil at the moment.....
First one is a defo a tour of the D-day landing beaches and surrounding areas a weeks trip from 4th June 2010.....Starting at Cherbourg and ending near Caen.
Next one is still in the plan stage, but it involves a ride along the road (Hells Highway)that took XXX Corps from the Dutch/Belgian border almost all the way to the bridge at Arnhem. Planned for September 2010 to coincide with the actual dates of the event 17-22 September...I've been to Arnhem (and Oosterbeek) before, during these days and the atmosphere is simply awsome, so much going on and so much to see. This tour is only 100km's but like the D-day tour there is so much history to see and enjoy and so many real heroric events to honour. Can't wait.
