Been out for a couple of hours this morning in the drizzle, tidying up the house and now I'll need to go work on the old shed I've picked up. Big stuff ;0)

Drizzle........lurvely out in Manc land..

Headset turned up, so I fitted that this morning - took my time, in between rescuing a neighbour's kid who got stuck up a tree.....just at the point I was fitting the 'cups' to the frame.....

Not out till Sunday though as popping to N. Wales for the night (in law's caravan) - might have a few shandys whilst the kids watch an entertainer at the pub next to the camp site.

Managed to get in a short ride today but still feeling the affects of a heavy cold. Tomorrow I'm off to Shanghai for a few days, it's more like returning home really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're a better man than me Gungh-a-Din (sp). Heavy cold has kept me off the bike this week and made me cancel my wknd away.

I met up with Origamist & LLB this morning for the KillSpills motorcycle demo in London.

Afterwards I got some great sprinting in keeping up with the Motorbikes and their Police escort and best of all not having to stop at red lights!

It's the London Freewheel tomorrow and I can't decide whether to take the trike or the roadie.
THB I'm having second thoughts about going since it is now sponsored by SKY and I'm not a big fan of Murdoch and his empire.
Apart from the Simpsons:blush:

Been out this morning and done 14 miles furthest distance so far!! I did stop once though for 5 mins, rest of today will be spent on the garden and some blackberry picking later when i walk the dog, then I'll be making some blackberry and apple jam.
Out on the bike tomorrow plan for my first 20 miler, it is not a lot for you boys and girls but for me-little legs it is. I'll let you all know how I get on.

I had a good cycle on my hybrid this morning along the Clyde walk/cycle way from Glasgow city centre to Uddingston. Path was OK apart from copious ammounts of broken glass in parts. I imagine its a bit of a neds' drinking den of an evening. Got slightly lost in Cambuslang as the signing wasn't that great however managed to find my way again.

Hoping to get 50/60 miles tomorrow morning on my road bike. I'll need to be out early though as 'her indoors' has plans:sad:

I had planned a rest day yesterday but I couldn't not go out with the weather being so nice, ended up doing 85miles round the lancashire hills.
