I don't disagree with pretty well everything you say but, solely as a matter of interest, why do you say
when one can lean on the handlebars and get an inch or so downward movement, and similarly at the back? I have to say though, that doesn't make it any more lovable. As for the oil tanker comment, with bow thrusters and reversible engines I would suggest that the tanker may slightly more manoeuvrable.
