Interesting article here, I hope it hasn't been posted already.

Nothing like a bit of victim blaming to end the week! There's just so much going on in this story. A hi-vis, a poodle, a horse, a bicycle. I mean, bloody hell, the horse rider had to have done 'something'. You don't just go around throwing bikes at people. It would have been easier and probably more effective to throw the poodle.

I thought Scottish horses went nae....it wis neigh me.
Some of the comments are humorous.
Are you suggesting this bloke just randomly threw a bicycle at a horse rider for no reason? There's a couple of horse riders who I pass on a daily basis and neither of them can keep proper control of their horses but I've yet to get off my bike and throw it at them.
Admittedly I am making an assumption but the whole thing is so farfetched and I find it hard to believe people just go around throwing bicycles at horse riders for no reason. I wonder if we'll ever find out.

I wasn't suggesting anything. I have no idea as to what events (if any) led to someone throwing their bike at someone else on a horse. I bet you don't either. You appear to imply that the horse rider probably deserved it as "the rider must have done something". It's hard to imagine what the horse rider could have done that would justify a deed that could have left him and/or his horse seriously injured or worse. Are you suggesting this bloke just randomly threw a bicycle at a horse rider for no reason? I must apologise as that isn't what I meant. I don't know why the bike was thrown, nor do I think the horse rider deserved to have a bike or a brick thrown at him. I was simply suggesting that the actual act must have resulted from something. It's either that or this bloke just goes round throwing stuff at people for no reason. Unfortunately the article doesn't really furnish us with much information.

Pre-emptive strike after the horserider threatened to trample him with the beast after an argument over dogpoo / horsepoo escalated .....
Pure idle speculation, but there is clearly more to it.
