There's just so much going on in this story. A hi-vis, a poodle, a horse, a bicycle. I mean, bloody hell, the horse rider had to have done 'something'. You don't just go around throwing bikes at people. It would have been easier and probably more effective to throw the poodle.

Are you suggesting this bloke just randomly threw a bicycle at a horse rider for no reason? There's a couple of horse riders who I pass on a daily basis and neither of them can keep proper control of their horses but I've yet to get off my bike and throw it at them.

Admittedly I am making an assumption but the whole thing is so farfetched and I find it hard to believe people just go around throwing bicycles at horse riders for no reason. I wonder if we'll ever find out.

I read my local rag online just for the comments.. Whatever the story it usually comes down to blaming racist asian asylum seeking audi or bmw driving wheelie bins.

I wasn't suggesting anything. I have no idea as to what events (if any) led to someone throwing their bike at someone else on a horse. I bet you don't either. You appear to imply that the horse rider probably deserved it as "the rider must have done something". It's hard to imagine what the horse rider could have done that would justify a deed that could have left him and/or his horse seriously injured or worse.

Maybe they were racing and the bloke on the bike decided to distract the horse by pulling some Findus crispy pancakes from his jersey. The horse naturally took offence to this and challenged the cyclist to a dual. The cyclist, who by now is in shock, responded with the only weapon he had. By this time the horse rider was in the local pub sampling their surf n turf..... Maybe.
