I don't want to go to America, at all. Which is a shame because Mr6 really wants to go to New York, I just don't get why.
Egypt has gone down in my estimations ever since I saw an Idiot Abroad, so that's off the list.
The usual "package holiday" type of thing doesn't appeal at all so that's most of Spain, Cyprus, Turkey etc out.
Don't like the look of India, Africa or Thailand either.
It's just aswell we can't afford a holiday.

Thought it might have been, but wasn't sure. Some people probably leave parts of the Caribbean with a bad impression, caused by a tiny minority of the locals.

I have never been outside the US. I want to one day go to UK, France, Spain, Italy,Germany, Scandinavia, actually all over Europe and Russia would be ok, during the Summer of course.

I would skip the UK part. Expensive (especially if you plan to eat, or drive - petrol/gas about US$9 per gallon), run down (and getting worse), some dodgy people, cold, grey, and rains for months on end - even in summer. A price worth paying only if you restrict your visit to the Scottish Highlands .

I beg to differ. Whilst some of what you say is true, during the spring and summer Great Britain is the most beautiful country in the world. well a significant amount of it is at least.

My post was not entirely serious, just some of it! The rest of Europe is just as expensive, if not more so. When we get the weather, parts of the UK can be hard to beat. It's just getting the weather that is the difficult bit.
